Book “Rural Politics of India: From Service to Leadership (An AI-based Perspective)” Launched on Jhansi Diwas

Minister Swatantra Dev Singh Extends Congratulations; Book by Bharti Arya and Prakash Pandey Draws Wide Attention

A significant literary and intellectual milestone was marked on the occasion of Jhansi Diwas (31 January 2026) during a grand cultural and thought-provoking programme organised jointly by Jhansi Municipal Corporation and the District Administration. The event witnessed the launch and discussion of the book “Rural Politics of India: From Service to Leadership (An AI-based Perspective)”, co-authored by Engineer Bharti Arya, a recipient of the President’s Award, and Guinness World Record holder Prakash Pandey.
The book and the associated programme received special recognition from Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister for Jal Shakti and Flood Control, Shri Swatantra Dev Singh, who shared the launch on his official social media platforms and congratulated the authors. Praising the theme of the book, the Minister stated that the integration of service, technology and leadership presented in the work is a meaningful and timely effort towards empowering rural India.
The Jhansi Diwas programme was graced by the presence of Shri Swatantra Dev Singh as the Chief Guest, while the event was presided over by Jhansi Mayor Shri Bihari Lal Arya.
Several senior administrative officials, public representatives and prominent citizens from the social sector attended the programme. Notable among them were Jhansi Municipal Commissioner Ms Akanksha Rana, renowned speaker Dr Neeti Shastri, Vice-President of the International Buddhist Research Institute Shri Hargovind Kushwaha, MLA Shri Ravi Sharma, MLC Shri Ramteerth Singhal, MLC Dr Babulal Tiwari, MLC Mrs Rama Niranjan, Chairman of UP Consumer Cooperative Federation Shri Jamuna Kushwaha, Shri Sanjeev Shringi Rishi, District President Shri Sudhir Singh, Shri Pradeep Patel, District General Secretary Shri Amit Sahu, Vice-Chairman Shri Ashish Tiwari, along with several corporators and dignitaries.
During the discussion session, author Bharti Arya stated that the book focuses on grassroots rural politics, service-oriented leadership and social responsibility, drawing insights from real-life experiences. Co-author Prakash Pandey highlighted that the book is an intellectual effort to strengthen dialogue between policy, administration and society, incorporating modern perspectives, data-driven thinking and practical governance insights.
Speakers and guests at the event described the book as timely, inspiring and highly relevant, presenting a fresh and forward-looking vision for rural India and leadership in the changing socio-political landscape.
At the conclusion of the programme, Bharti Arya and Prakash Pandey expressed their gratitude to all the distinguished guests and participants, with special thanks to Hon’ble Minister Swatantra Dev Singh for his encouragement and support.
